Can I admit something to you guys? For the longest time I thought that it was called Black Friday because you went shopping when it was dark (aka black) outside. Let’s not dwell on how many years into my adulthood I was when I realized this was not the case.
I have to admit, I love to shop Black Friday sales. I love the friends I go with, I love the people watching, and I love me a good deal. But, (you knew that was coming didn’t you?) I also love to sleep in on days in which I don’t have to wake up before the sun comes up. So each year I have this Black Friday type of anxiety that builds up inside of me, not sure if I should go out or not.
I am not one of those shoppers that just buys something because it is cheap. If I get it, its because it is something that is on my list of things to get. I just don’t know that pushing through the crowds and lines is always worth a little bit more off.
So what say you….are you a shopper on Black Friday or do you stay in bed and laugh at the rest of us out there….I need to know!

A) I lost my Black Friday Virginity last year. That experience was so traumatic that I don’t believe I’ll ever be able to go out. Ever. Again.
B) Uh, my Christmas shopping is done.
Anniversary present is not purchase, however, so I’ll be looking at stuff on Cyber Monday.
C) Mmm, bed.
D) The only store I’m interested in is Kohl’s and that’s mainly just to score some great deals, not even for Christmas. But 4am is NOT my friend. NOT MY FRIEND.

I am one of those people who love it, but doesn’t bother to do it the right way. I won’t get up at 4am on a holiday. No way, no how. Screw deals. Ha.
Last year, I only went to Kohls and I even went after lunch.

I love it and I will be in line at Target before the doors open at 5 a.m. They have a great deal on a television. And I really want a new television, you know, the flat kind with HDTV. So, yeah, I’ll be there early, when it’s still dark out!!! LOL

I only go out if I have something specific in mind to buy, that is really, really a good deal on Black Friday.
For example. I need a new tower for my computer. I waited and put it off until Windows 7 came out because I’d shoot myself before I used Vista. Anyway… I can get a killer deal on a computer tower this Friday, saving hundreds of dollars. So, I’m putting my big girl panties on and going out. Probably in my pajamas.

Ohhh, I am always so undecided. I have heard that WalMart and ToysRUs open at midnight, and since I am normally still AWAKE at that hour that seems doable. Waking up at 4am though? Does not. Blah.
